Your beautiful image has brought me back in time. Once i hiked to the summit of Green Mountain near Boulder Colorado. The entire summit was carpeted with Lady Bugs. I will always wonder why they gathered at that elevation.

Some years ago also in northern Germany were thousands of ladybugs.
I've read that there were sooo many aphids, that they could grow their population.

I didn't think any photomanipulation would be needed. If flies could shamelessly do it by your windowpane, so can these little critters! Only humans built closets for themselves!!
